Troubleshooting and repairing the network camera

Network Camera Connections
Setting up network systems and using these cameras is very simple. In most cases, the problems are caused by a fault in the power circuit and the connection of the camera. Almost all CCTV cameras are equipped with an LED light to indicate the connection status. The turn off of this light indicates that the power does not reach the camera.
If the building's electricity is connected, contact the repair technician to check the connections. Sometimes finding the cause of the circuit outage is very complicated and time-consuming.
CCTV Camera PING
To find the fault and test the camera under the network can be done via IP. With an Android laptop or phone, it is easy to test the IP address and network connection. Of course, two cameras and computers must be located on the same network, these settings are done in advance and readjusted by the repairman. All CCTV companies use a proprietary software system to connect the camera to the network via IP. This operation is called PING, which is not that difficult.
If you haven't set these up manually beforehand, use the default system password that's available in the manual.
There have been many instances where home or corporate users have forgotten their passwords. In this case, the device should be FACTORY RESET. This procedure is costly and can only be done when necessary. With Factory Reset, all network camera settings return to their original state. In this case, the memory, password, and other settings will also be deleted.
Checking for IP Address Conflicts
Each camera under the network has a well-defined and unique IP address. If multiple cameras have the same address, you will definitely encounter interference in the network connection. This problem needs expert investigation. In order for the camera to access the network, the IP interference problem must be fixed, otherwise the connection will not be possible.
Firmware upgrades and updates
The network camera sends information by software and operating system. If the operating system is not up-to-date, there will be disruptions in the network. Check through the camera's webpage that the latest version is installed. If the main power is plugged in and you don't have any issues with IP and input information, chances are the problem will be fixed with an OS upgrade.
