How to View CCTV Cameras via Mobile
One important aspect to consider when working with CCTV systems is the ability to view camera footage remotely. This feature is particularly significant for business owners or managers of establishments dealing with valuable or luxury goods (such as jewelry stores) who wish to monitor activity even when they are away from the premises.
To view CCTV camera feeds on a smartphone, there are numerous mobile applications available for both Android and iOS devices.
Connecting CCTV Cameras to Your Smartphone
First and foremost, internet connectivity must be available at the location where the CCTV cameras are installed. By connecting the DVR or NVR to the internet and configuring a static IP address, you can then view the CCTV camera footage via your smartphone.
To connect your DVR or NVR to your smartphone, you need to access the device menu and perform the relevant settings. Additionally, you must install the necessary application on your smartphone. By configuring the IP connection between your smartphone and the device, you can easily access the footage recorded on the DVR from your mobile phone.
